The management of Wellington Park involves a co-operative approach between various land owning and management agencies and the community to ensure the natural and cultural values of the Park are preserved and enhanced.
The Wellington Park Management Trust is the management authority for the Park, and has the responsibility for preparing and implementing the various strategic planning and development control instruments used to guide the management of the reserve.
The Trust office is located at the Hobart City Council, however the Trust has established its own range of policies and procedures based upon the needs of the community and its obligations under the Wellington Park Act 1993.
