From a grassy glade to a sheltered stone cabin with an open fire, Wellington Park offers a range of facilities from Fern Tree to The Chalet on Mount Wellington.

Visitors can enjoy an open fire (except during total fire bans) at a number of locations in designated fire places (fire wood provided).

Toilets are available at select locations including FernTree Park, the Springs and the Pinnacle. New facilities are currently under construction at Myrtle Forest picnic area, due for completion in December 2007.

Water is naturally occurring in areas such as Myrtle Forest and the Chalet, however this is not tested and quality cannot be guaranteed.

The Waterworks Reserve and Tolosa Park offer extensive established facilities close to Wellington Park for larger groups or functions. Bookings are required for these sites through the Hobart City Council (for Waterworks Reserve) or the Glenorchy City Council (for Tolosa Park).
